Pike Lumber Company, Inc. 2002-
2014
Pike Lumber Company, Inc. is Indiana's largest state of the art hardwood
lumber manufacture with 3D imaging scanners, PLC machine centers and a
computer controlled inventory system, managing thousands of acres of the
finest hardwoods in the Mid-West with GIS technology. Throughout my eleven-
year tenure at Pike Lumber Company, Inc., I've been recognized for
continuous progressive promotional/advancement opportunities as outlined
below.
Plant Manager Carbon, IN 2008 -
2014
. Responsible for coordination of all departments from human resources,
procurement, logging, green manufacturing, kiln drying, dry
manufacturing, and shipping in the Carbon Region, as well as personnel
totaling 50 employees.
. Established new markets for byproducts resulting in $50,000 in revenue
the first year.
. Designed and implemented a training program for new personnel at a new
sister plant.
. Fostered positive cultural changes in safety through improved meetings
and employee input.
. Responsible for community involvement and developing relationships with
local organizations.
Plant Supervisor/Interim Timber Manager Carbon, IN 2007 -
2008
. Responsible for all Plant Manager responsibilities while overseeing
timber buying and logging.
. Led a team of 4 Foresters to purchase standing timber from private
landowners to supply the mill.
. Oversaw 3 logging crews and 4 log trucks to harvest and transport the raw
material to the mill.
. Implemented the transition plan for the relocation and establishment of
the new Timber Manager.
Plant Supervisor Carbon, IN 2005 -
2007
. Responsible for a state of the art hardwood lumber plant from raw
material to finished product using 3D imaging, PLC machine centers and
bar coded inventory system.
. Set production standards and targets to maintain raw material levels
while providing finished products to reach sales goals.
. Oversaw all maintenance departments that are responsible for production
equipment, buildings, grounds and rolling stock.
. Responsible for 25 employees and 3 department heads.
. Oversaw a plant expansion of a $1.7 million dry kiln, boiler system and
warehouse.

2005

1993-2002
Great Dane Trailers is one of the nation's largest semi-trailer
manufactures. Throughout my nine-year tenure at Great Dane Trailers, I was
able to work my way from an entry-level position to an Engineering
Coordinator while finishing my college degree.
Production Engineering Refrigerated Coordinator Brazil, IN
2000 - 2002
. Responsible for a team of three Production Engineering Techs on the
refrigerated trailer line.
. Preview all incoming sales orders and assign to PET1 according to order
requirements.
. Maintain detailed files of customer specifications and special designs.
. Review and approve all designs and bills of material after they have been
processed by PET1.
