Duties and Results: I was originally hired as a Service Desk Analyst at
the MITSC and 3 weeks into my employment I was promoted to
Quality Assurance Manager and Lead Trainer. I currently manage and
help produce procedures for MITSC West Regional Service Desk.
Analyze data to create and manage current handling processes and
procedures. Analyze trouble ticket data pulled from MCEN BMC
Remedy tool on a daily basis to track and manage incidents. Analyze
incident trends to determine if escalation to another supporting section
is necessary. Work with our in house Remote Desktop Management
Section (RDMS) to help them get policy and procedures in place. Keep
track of all internal personnel at the MITSC West RSD and the
permissions and accounts they are looking to obtain. Created workflow

implemented policy and procedures for network Incident Management.
Deal with trouble tickets and customers as they come across in the
daily workings or as reported to our Watch Officers or to the Incident
Manager on site. Conduct all initial onboard training and check in
procedures for new contractors and Marine personnel. Conduct weekly
CSC meetings with RSD staff to talk about trends and changes and
pass any new word and training. Work with SharePoint Administrator
to keep up with our MITSC West GC CSC SharePoint site. Work with
our analytics personnel to help assess ticket and call handling trends so
we can make suggestions to stakeholders. I also help the Service Desk
Director and Deputy director with doing background research about
Workforce Management Tools for us to possibly put in place in the
future. For my contractor, Smartronix, I work to complete a
consolidated MSR (Monthly Service Record) for our personnel and I
assist the personnel in my contract with internal processing in our
company (i.e. expense reports, leave of absence paperwork, etc.)
