Virtual Machine Migration for Back-end Mashup Application
Guide: Prof. P M Jat & Prof. Sanjay Chaudhary
Virtual Machine Migration is a technique for efficient utilization of resources
leading towards ‘Green Computing’. Back-end Mashup application is used by clients and
the relevant data can be collected for further usage. The Social Networking cites deployed
on the cloud environment are examples of Back-end Mashup applications. The Virtual
Machines will be residing upon different servers or compute hosts when they are created.
Virtual Machine Migration is used for utilizing the physical resources efficiently. The
Open Source Software like Eucalyptus and Openstack are used for creating the private
cloud environment.
PROJECT
Real-time Path Planning of Mobile Anchor Node in Localization for
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN)
Guide: Prof. Sanjay Srivastava Team size - 1
The graph theory is firstly used to do localization of WSN nodes. We regard
wireless sensor networks as a connected undirected graph and then the path planning
problem is translated into having a Spanning Tree and traversing a graph. Here we have
come up with algorithms for Spanning Tree. These algorithms can obtain better
localization precision and the localization is done energy-efficiently. Our real-time
trajectories are practical and can be easily implemented in mobile robot platforms.
Fuzziness in Cloud Computing Team size – 4
Guide: Prof. Velammal
Normally an application deployed on t h e cloud will have an exact search option
i.e. no mismatch i s allowed in searching keyword. Means, no fuzziness is allowed.
In this project we have implemented a method which allows one character fuzziness
(added regular expression). S o, a mismatch of one character i s allowed in the
s earching keyword, still resulting in desired user search result.
Positions of Responsibility : Team leader
Awards and Achievements : Best Project Award
Ultimate Baseball Game Team size - 1
Computer Graphics is used to create Ultimate Baseball game. It is implemented in
visual studio. In the game, two players roll the dices by click of the mouse button and the
generated random number on dices decide the action of play.
