SBEC Sugar Limited is a company of U.K. Modi group of Industry. The
plant is about 80 km away from Delhi, the capital of India and our head-
office at Delhi. The plant is located in the heart of the sugarcane belt
of North India. The sugar plant has been designed to achieve ultimate
crush rate of 10000 tons cane/ day (tcd) of sugarcane. The Plant
commenced commercial production w.e.f. 15th. Feb.1999 with a capacity to
crush @ 3,125 tcd. With the addition of equipment over the years, present
capacity of the plant is 10,000 tcd. The Company has received a license
for establishing a Distillery with an annual capacity to produce 18000 KL
of Industrial Alcohol in the state of Uttar-Pradesh. The estimated
Project Cost for the Distillery is Rs. 226.5 Million and it will be
