Responsibilities

Supervised dietary employees to ensure the provision of quality nutritional services. Did ordering of food,

supplies, training, disciplining of employees, counseling, troubleshooting, oversaw food prep, mtn food service

equipment, scheduling of staff, & cleaning tasks, and adhering to budget. Also opened and closed the kitchen

as necessary.

Opened the kitchen as needed. Checked staffing for any late calls or call ins. Checked status of kitchen.

Made sure all necessary supplies were available. Unlocked store rooms if anything was needed. Went to

units to check on residents refrigerators, and to see if any supplies were needed. Took calls from units which

sometimes consisted of residents complaints concerning meals or offer food preferences. At meal times did

meal rounds on residents floors post overseeing production of meals prep. Above mentioned was mostly my

weekend duties. During the week I was responsible for the on going assessements of all residents which

included careplanning, dietary counseling and MDS+.
