Duties: Bus and Clean off tables. Bring dishes back to dish room where they would be washed
and returned to the cook-line. At the end of each shift I would close down the dish washing area,
clean the floors and washing machine, and then take out the garbage.

Duties: I would be given a restaurant order via text messaging, the restaurants I delivered for
included over 70 different franchises in the Tallahassee area. After picking up the order I would
then drive the food to the customers house and repeat that process until the shift was over.

Volunteer Experience
V89.7 news- My last couple of semesters as a student at FSU, I participated in an volunteer-run
radio station on campus. My work there consisted of writing news articles to be played in their
monthly Vox Populi news show as well as helping to brainstorm for each month's topic. The
stories that I worked on while at the station included topics such as gun control, radio history,
and internet gaming.
Teaching Experience
Florida State University Peer Tutoring- Part of a course at FSU, where the students in the class
spent time tutoring other students, from a variety of different Majors and ESL (English as a
Second Language) Students, in the English Department's Writing Center. The classroom portion
of the class gave guidance and instruction when tutoring one-on-one with a student.
CIEO Training Center English Teacher- From April 2013 to July 2014 I was teaching Chinese
children English in Guangzhou, China. The age groups I worked with ranged from four to
thirteen years old. The class sizes varied from four to sixteen students. At CIEO I was trained to
teach in a styling of their own, which consisted of lots of group work, competitive games, and
role-playing. My classes were focused on improving reading, writing, grammar, and phonics.
Classes were an hour and half to two hours long. My responsibilities included creating a unique
and detailed lesson plan for every class, communicating with parents on their needs and
concerns, filling out evaluation paperwork for students, attending weekly staff meeting and
training sessions, outside recruiting classes for prospective students, and also being able to
demonstrate an energetic and fun teaching style in the classroom.
