Position: Senior Planner/Buyer, Commodity Management, NPI Sourcing

Responsible for procurement of Purchased Finished Goods for various

product families. Responsible for development / procurement of new

products related to Philips ChMV product portfolio.

Coordinate with Marketing/Customer Service/Production/Engineering and

Documentation Depts. to ensure continuity of supply, optimize annualized

inventory turns and reduce overall inventory dollars.

Negotiate contracts/cost reductions and delivery schedules. Sourcing of

components and multi-tiered supplier selection.

Coordinate with Supplier Quality Department to qualify new suppliers,

ensure product quality and to resolve issues that may negatively impact

product quality and customer satisfaction, including the initiation of

supplier CAPAs / SCARs.

Strong working knowledge of Operations, Manufacturing, Service and

Quality Systems. Strong working knowledge of requirements pertinent to

medical device design, manufacture and distribution. Thorough SAP and

Microsoft Office skills, with SAP focus on ERP / MRP planning and

execution, demand analysis, purchasing and quality systems functionality.

Participated in SAP implementation, developing and implementing lot

tracking system currently in use at Philips Respironics and Philips ChMV

locations. Developed manufacturing processes at Philips St. Louis

facility to package and serial track medical devices for customer-

specific configurations.

Lead projects to transition all Purchased Finished goods and components

from Georgia and Ireland manufacturing facilities. This included transfer

of purchasing records as well as auditing component documentation for

inaccuracies. All ChMV products were included in this transfer.

Lead project to outsource PChMV product lines from Murrysville

manufacturing facility to suppliers already present within the ChMV

approved supplier database. Projects also allowed ChMV to obtain cost

savings of over $50K annually. Responsible for over $400K in annual

margin improvement for fiscal year 2010. Proven track record of margin

improvement initiatives (resulting in over $3M annual savings), process

generation and optimization and JIT procurement. Responsible for

commodity management, specifically with regard to supplier performance

metrics, cost analysis and contract review.
