Duties
Viailing- included asecptic training which means cross connection of product to pump
machine without the spread of bacteria, working under clean hood, gowning
technique for asecptic purposes, hand vialing whole blood samples, calculation of
volumes of liquids and recording its variances, operating fill pumps and recording
data of it, caring for equipment used in pumping serums and blood, use of
electronic scale to measure density, ability to read bulks of blood and serums to
record information via FDA policy, performing checks in different clean rooms
for co workers according to GMP, hazmat training of proper handling,
elimanation, and storage of bloods and serums, and preparing samples for QC
labs.
Labeling- included suiting up in lab coats, hair nets, and face guards to stop
contamination of product, a profound S.O.P. to insure the labeling order and
vialing orders were the same, system check inside of assembly lines which were
connected to the vialing clean rooms to assure two different products were not on
the same line at same time, computer and printer systems check to assure that no
products from the previous order is mixed with the present order, use of optel
cameras to scan each label, perform line cleareance to verify good GMP and the
companies S.O.P., checking bulk release sheet for authorization of the product to
be vialed and labeled, check labeling order against bulk release sheet to verify the
correct product name, experation date, lot number, donor code, labeling code
(found in S.O.P.) are correct for GMP purposes, uploading data to computer and
checking it against vialing and labeling order to make sure they are the same
products, operating optel and Newman software to assure the bar codes, lot
numbers, experation dates, product name, and labeling codes are visible to
customer labs, assuring and checking for vials coming out of vialing room were
free of contaminants outside and inside vial, checking for cracked vials and
dropper caps, training on how to contain spills and sterilize work area after spills,
loading acceptable vials onto a tray loader which uses automation to load storage
units for refrigeration and pulling samples for analysis labs.
