Responsible for the production scheduling, and daily operations of the
fabrication department. Also responsible for all purchasing and management
of the inventory for the fabrication department and other departments as
requested. Working on the implementation of processes and procedures for
the manufacturing, shipping, and fabrication departments in the newly
formed PCIC group which will be responsible for all production and
inventory control for the entire business. Working with all other

delivery fleet for the branch. Other operations responsibilities
included the ordering of parts and equipment for stock as well as working

for specific jobs throughout our assigned territory which included GA, AL,
and TN. Other duties included the cost recovery on damaged equipment coming
back in from rental, as well as from our corporate office on leased
equipment. I was also responsible for the proper repair and billing for
customer owned equipment.

Responsibilities include the mechanic's duties, as well as the management
and oversight of all branch operations from the ordering of parts to
customer service, to the proper management of all office paperwork:
billing, account set-up, invoicing, etc. Also, oversaw the everyday
operations and function for a satellite branch out of the Sarasota area, as
well as a Central Repair branch, out of the our Tampa facility. All of
these duties are to provide the best service possible to our customer to
live up to our "Finish Faster" motto.
Accomplishments:
. Turned around a failing branch through instituting a
more aggressive schedule of preventative maintenance for
the service department. These adjustments were not only
made for our rental fleet but for our customer-owned
equipment repairs as well.
. Operated the whole branch successfully, while the branch
was without a Branch Manager for several months,
maintaining and actually gaining customer base.

Responsibilities included assessment of all needed repairs and upgrades to
rental units and customer-owned units to the proper specifications for
optimum performance. Responsibilities also included re-organizing the shop
and bringing it back to company - wide standards.

Responsibilities included ensuring the quality control of all the pumps
being built in the manufacturing section of the plant, as well as
maintaining the smooth operation of our rental fleet of more than 150
units. Oversaw eleven direct reports. Also worked closely with the sales,
engineering, parts, and accounting departments to make sure that everything
got out in a timely fashion and that all necessary paperwork and
information was given to the accounting department so that any billing
was taken care of in a timely fashion, as well. In addition, filed all
warranty claims by our customers to ensure that they were taken care of in
a timely fashion. Also responsible for ensuring all employees received the
required safety training and equipment training to meet all of the
requirements of the government and our company. Traveled throughout the
country training our customers on the proper use and maintenance of the
equipment.
Accomplishments:
. Developed a system and came up with the appropriate
forms to ensure a smooth transition to a more
computerized and economically feasible accounting
environment.
. Key player in the development of more technologically
advanced equipment to meet the requirements of our
customers. This included PLC-type controls for the
portable units that were rented so that equipment could
be monitored on-site from a remote location at all
times.
. Implemented a more aggressive schedule of preventative
maintenance for the rental fleet, reducing the service
related out calls by approximately seventy percent.
. Created a service training class to teach end users how
to better utilize their equipment. Presented classes at
the customer's facility or at our shop.
. Worked closely with the engineering department in the
development of prototype units to advance business and
stay on the cutting edge in the rental pump business.

well as making sure work was done in a timely fashion, and correctly
wiring any new electronics on these units to our customer's requirements.
Due to the fact that this was a small company, most of the work was done

Machinist
Responsible for the re-engineering of pumps and motors due to the fact that
most of the equipment was outdated or out of production so almost
everything had to be adapted to newer bearings, seals, etc.
Responsibilities included reading prints to determine the proper finish and
tolerance on all parts. At times it was also necessary to create our own
proper prints for the fabrication and machining of parts for the
various types of equipment used in the processing of orange juice. This
included holding very tight tolerances for bearings and seals as we
manufactured most of the spare parts for the company in an effort to save
money.

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and systems
repair for the whole facility, which included pumps, piping systems, bulk
material conveyors and various other types of equipment. Most of these
systems were required to run on a 24-hour basis. This meant that an
aggressive preventative maintenance program had to be developed and
followed to ensure smooth operation of the plant. Many of these tasks
required personal responsibility due to the fact that we were each
assigned our own area in the plant to cover.
Accomplishments:
. Learned all maintenance procedures and became a lead
mechanic in the facility.
. Promoted to the machine shop through a craft-training
program designed for the advancement of employees. Able
to complete the two-year course in approximately seven
months, including all of the on-the-job training.
