M.Tech Project
Title : Experimental Study on Behaviour of HPC Beam under Cyclic
Loading
Description : High performance concrete beams with various mix types were
tested under full cyclic load. The load-deflection graph was
plotted to study the stiffness degradation of the beam. From
this experimental study it was studied that HPC beams with steel
fibres has improved stiffness and stiffness degradation after
dull cyclic loading test is very minimum when compared with
conventional beam,
B.E. (8th semester ) Project
Title : Flexural Strengthening of Concrete Structures Using Externally
Bonded FRP
Description : Beams where casted with M20 grade of concrete and its
laminated with different patterns of FRP system and there
flexural strength were tested under flexure testing machine. The
results show us the FRP laminated beam has increased more than
thrice the flexural strength of conventional concrete beam. The
failure mode of FRP lamination is caused due to de-lamination of
FRP system.
B.E. (7th semester) Project
Title : Design of an Industrial Building
Description : An industrial building was designed for storage purpose. The
area of the building is 30m 15m. The building was designed
using portal frame and the structural members are analyzed using
plastic analysis. For load calculation wind load is considered
as per IS: 875 (part 3) - 1987. For plastic analysis I have used
beam mechanism, sway mechanism, gable mechanism and combined
mechanism. This building was designed very economical.
