Apple Leisure Group holds a unique niche in the U.S. travel industry as not

only one of the largest wholesale vacation providers, but also one with a

vertically integrated business model. Prior to being promoted into this

role I was the Sr. Director of Corporate Human Resources for

CheapCaribbean.com, an ALG Company.

Responsible for the Human Resource function for all ALG employees in the

United States, Canada, Europe and Mexico.

Significant accomplishments:

. Successfully, designed and developed an integration strategy for all

of ALG's acquisitions.

Sr. Director of Corporate Human Resources and Operations

For over twenty-six years, Project Transition (PT) has provided help and

hope to adults with psychiatric problems that have been recurrent and

persistent. Many of the people we work with have felt failed by previous

treatment efforts, including psychiatric hospitalizations, medications, and

drug & alcohol rehabilitation programs. Responsible for Human Resources and

Operations for our 8 programs located through out the State of PA.

Significant accomplishments:

. Designed and implemented a company 401(K) Plan.

. Draft and administers employment policies, manages administrative

charges and employment litigation.

. Utilizing innovative approach was able to maintain a - .34 %

increase for all insurance benefits for the 2011 open enrollment

while only slightly changing the plan.

Until the merger with Finisar Corporation, I was the Sr. Human Resource

Officer for the United States, Israeli and Australian operations for Optium

Corporation. Optium Corporation was a Public NASDAQ Company (OPTM) and

Manufacturer and leading designer of transceivers and transponders for the

telecommunications and CATV industry. Before the merger Optium had

approximately 500 Global Employees.

Significant accomplishments:

. Enhanced organizational effectiveness by leading transformational

change

initiatives and deploying key human capital processes and practices

to Sales,

Customer Operations, Engineering and IT departments. Provided

direction to

senior leadership team and deployed change management processes in

restructuring these departments for more efficient productivity.

. Facilitated and directed human resources initiatives for mergers and

acquisitions. Represented Optium on the merger team that

established all the

new policies and processes for operations in United States, Israel,

and Australia.

. Facilitated an Executive Global Compensation study and analysis for

Relations

Responsible for entire Human Resource Function for 3,100-person

manufacturing plant (unionized) located in Saint Cloud MN, with the

Corporate Office in Augusta, GA. Our plant manufactured freezers with 63%

of the US Market. I Supervised staff of 10 individuals including a medical

center. Also responsible for Human Resource support to several Regional

Distribution Centers through out the United States.

Significant accomplishments:

. Successful negotiation with the union on outsourcing small parts area

resulted in an annual savings of over $1,000,000.

. Implemented Safety Action Plan that reduced OSHA incident rate from 18

to 3 in 12 months.

. Developed successful Corporate College Recruiting Program, which

included MIT, and the University of Iowa, among others.

. Reduced search firm fees by $750,000 in first year.

. Introduced with union support, a mandatory drug-testing program for

all OSHA Recordable Accidents.

have since closed.
