M.E Project Details:
Title: Transient Analysis of Current Transformer
Description:
This project is under sponsorship of CPRI, Bengaluru, KA. Tests are carried out in High Power
Lab (HPL) and Short Circuit Lab at CPRI (Bengaluru). In this project the current transformer behavior is
analyzed for transient fault event. Short circuit fault is considered as transient event and the analysis made
by comparing the current waveforms. Also a simulation model is created in MATLAB simulation and
compared with the lab test result for validation.
B. E Project Details:
Title: Design and Implementation of UPFC in Transmission Line
Description:
Unified Power Flow Controller is designed using MATLAB Simulation. Then Power electronic
component (IGBT’s) and 4 no. of PIC 16F877A are used to contr ol the power flow. Program to control is
written in Mikro C.
Simulation Software: MATLAB
Diploma P roject Details:
Title: Automatic Fault detection of Under Ground Cable .
Description:
The fault in an Under Ground cable is sensed through the sensor. The buz zer located near to the
faulted area is alarms as per the fault. A display is used to display the condition in case of buzzer failure.
All the devices are controlled by PIC 89C51.
