• Determined reporting requirements in over twenty states and prepared multiple corporate tax

policies, prepaid & fixed assets, payroll accounts and state and city sales taxes.

million and 150 employees.
• Oversaw all areas of month-end close and general ledger account reconciliations including state
sales tax returns, maintained deadlines, interfaced with auditors including state tax, bank and
public auditors. Fixed assets, prepaids, lease and loan accounting. Project management.
• Supervised staff of four professionals in accounts receivable and accounts payable and three
clerical employees.
• Prepared financial statements, including consolidation reports for two separate companies; a
manufacturing and a distribution company. Assisted in opening new distribution centers in
Canada and Great Britain, managed compliance with regulatory agencies. Split the company into
two separate accounting entities, created charts of accounts and financial statements for each
entity.
