Employment History
June 2013 - Present Power & Controls Engineer Procter &
Gamble Duracell
Lancaster, SC
As a Controls engineer I lead and delivered improvement efforts of
Duracell Manufacturing High Speed Cell Lines by:
. Developing, Managing and Supporting site process automation systems
to ensure they meet availability, reliability, safety, security,
and compliance requirements.
. Developing process sequence of operations and programming Allen
Bradley & GE PLC Logic Controls. Projects included High speed cell
line feeding speed response, State Machine Automation sequencing &
Smart identification of controlled Stops to cell line modules.
. I have been responsible for electrical/controls commissioning,
Vendor acceptance test, Factory acceptance test, Installation
qualifications & Operational qualification of new
equipment/machines.
. Developed tailored training criteria & material for E&I technicians
for Allen Bradley drives ( K350,K6500, Powerflex 755, Powerflex
P40), FT View HMIs, AB ControlLogix & GuardLogix PLCs, AB Point I/O
& AB Ethernet/IP Communication switches.
Sep 2012- May 2013 Engineering Test Technician IC-Detect
Analytical Services
Edinburg,Tx
As a Engineering Test Technician I developed, assembled, calibrated
and troubleshoot circuits to test the authenticity of electrical
components and IC's as per datasheet specifications using bench top
equipment.
2009 to 2012 Student Assistant/Math Tutor University of
Texas PanAm
Math Department, Edinburg, Tx
As a Student Assistant I managed undergraduate students grades and
tracked their performance on weekly assignments, in addition I
mentored them in successful understanding of course material through
weekly group tutoring sessions and lectures.
Summer 2012 Electrical Technician Toshiba International
Control Plant
Houston,Tx 77541
As a Electrical Technician I assisted in the manufacturing of low,
medium and high voltage transformers by assembling and troubleshooting
using electrical drawings and multimeters.
2008 to 2009 General Math Tutor University of Texas PanAm
Math Department, Edinburg, Tx
As a General Math Tutor I mentored students on a one on one basis in
the understanding of mathematical concepts including Algebra, Pre-
Calculus, Calculus 1-3, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.

Research
1st Place at 2012 UTPA H.E.S.T.E.C poster symposium
1st Place at 2012 UTPA Assistive Technology Design Competition
. We developed a Brain Computer Interface for application as a computer
mouse for the disabled. Our device is designed to interpret the user's
thoughts and translate them as control instructions through the use of
digital signal processing on a microcontroller. My personal
responsibilities in the development of our project is the design,
testing and implementation of analog amplifier, Active filter, and
computer interface.
Hovercraft- LBJ Middle School Community Service Project April 2013
. I have designed, developed and constructed a remote controlled
hovercraft for an adult to ride. In conjunction with LBJ middle school
students we assembled the hovercraft together as per my design, while
I built their capability by explaining engineering concepts of my
design and enhance their interest in Electrical Engineering. The main
focus of my work is a proportional controller for the thrusts engine
propellers, it involves the design of a mix signal electronic circuit
for the variable speed control of the engine's electric motors via a
joystick controller.
