Experience: April 2013-Oct-2013 Medical assistant, Wake Forest Baptist Eye

Center, Winston Salem, NC. Assisted and worked in the eye center

as a floating technician. Became a lead technician after my 90 days for

one our Dr’s. Was able to keep her flow going and keep her caught up

during a busy day, while still working up patients. I was able to learn

EPIC EMR and was in training to become a COA.

Jan2009- Medical Assistant, Hecker Ophthalmology, Greensboro, NC. Assisted

Sept201 and worked closely with patients taking their medical history including

performing eye exams, such as, vision refractions, scribing and a-scan

measurements.

Sept 2000- Medical Assistant, Central Carolina Surgical Eye Associates,

Oct 2008 Greensboro, NC. Assisted and worked with 8 different doctors, including

Dr Epes. Took medical histories, eye exams, scribed, a-scan, IOL master,

Took retinal and glaucoma photographs. Traveled to different locations 1-

2 times a week with patients and doctors. Performed various duties, i.e.

Data entry and supply ordering.

Positions: Front-End Costumer Service Representative, Cashier, Stocker,

Bakery and Photo Lab Associate.
