Responsible for the development and deployment of one of 11 medical research networks allowing for
access to de-identified electronic medical records from some of the largest medical institutions in the
state of Pennsylvania and Maryland. The purpose of this project is to give medical researchers a tool to
analyze millions of medical records for research purposes.
Responsible for the overall execution of the project with focus on coordination and collaboration between

Tasked with the management of two failing complex multi-million dollar projects for a mid-West transit
authority. The scope of the projects was to deliver wayside technical solutions for some of the most
complicated and technically challenging railroad interlockings in the world. Accomplishments included:
• Successful re-establishment of customer confidence in Ansaldo’s ability to deliver the two projects;
• Oversaw one of the most successful installations and commissioning the customer experienced in

Asked to manage two additional failing software development projects to provide new equipment software
interface into the existing mainframe computer for an international customer. Achievements included:

Successfully managed an interoperability project focused on demonstrating full operational interoperability
between Thales’ and competitor’s line of products. The success of that project secured Thales’ position on
a short bid list and ultimately allowed the company to win a new multi-million dollar project in the NYC area.
Transferred to Alcatel-Lucent, sister company, with responsibility for management of telecommunication
projects for a local medical services provider. Some of the managed projects included:
• Design, installation, and commissioning of two redundant network data centers;
