Opera House. Balances ticket sales on a daily basis. Coordinates

volunteers and assign them to be ushers, concession and/or House Managers

for the various performances. Works with three other full-time employees

and one seasonal intern for the on-going daily operations of the community

theater/entertainment facility.

Upon receipt of their personnel files, verified that selected potential

individuals had completed all of their pre-employment requirements.

Contacted applicants, if still interested in position offered them a

position in the geological locations available at the appropriate grade

payroll level. Scheduled them in the basic training class at the Federal

Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and notified the duty station of

the pending arrival of the new employee with dates, etc. Enter the

pertinent data into the database and send an acceptance letter to the new

employee reiterating their starting date, Duty Station, Basic Training

Class, and in some cases their Spanish Training Class. Kept current

Agriculture Specialists waiting for funded vacancies, and other reports as

needed. Answer department phones and forwarded to appropriate department

or individual. Retired July 31, 2010 and moved to Dubuque, Iowa.

volunteers as possible. Also met with each non-profit organizations to

Provided the necessary support information and data for the grants to the

Corporation for National Service, state, county and city which support this

volunteers.

the RSVP Office. This included timely job evaluations and new training as

throughout Dubuque County. In 1997 the volunteers contributed over 132,500

hours of service in our community. Interviewed each prospective volunteer

to assess their skills and desires regarding volunteer assignments based on

community needs. Collaborated with location non-profit organizations to

develop and implement volunteer assignments. Wrote grants to Corporation

for National Service, state, county and city as well as private

organizations applying for funds to promote and run the program.

Coordinated annual reports to Finley's Board of Directors. Also served as

Regional Chairperson on the Governor's Volunteer Awards as well as on the

Governor's Commission for Volunteer Service.
