1. Conducting industrial projects concerned with improvement of welding quality, repair welding, third party
inspection, failure analysis and trouble shooting for different industrial sectors. The coming are examples of

Research interest
My research interest is in material science in general with a particular interest in joining of metals, materials,
composites and dissimilar materials. My research focusses on the thermodynamics and kinetics of reactions
and microstructural evolutions at solid-solid and solid-liquid interfaces. I possess strong competences in the
fields of joining (e.g. brazing, soldering, diffusion bonding), corrosion, functionalized oxide films, surface
pre-treatments, and the local reactivity of metal implants in bioenvironments.
