V.T.U college topper for 4th semester B.E examination.
TESSOLVE SEMICONDUCTOR PVT. LIMITED on “FUNDAMENTALS OF PCB DESIGNING” using ALLEGRO
AND ORCAD Capture tools.
The internship provided a view as to how exact fabrication of a PCB board takes place along
with the various parameters taken into consideration and also the complexities involved in
testing the exact functionality for which the PCB was originally designed for. We were given an
insight into the net list generation and the routing procedures and parameters.
Participated in “ISENSOBTZ ELEX” Workshop (Robots that sense) in association with CULTURA 2011
held at CMRIT Bangalore on 3rd and 4th APRIL conducted by ARK TECHNOSOLUTIONS.
About the Workshop:
Had a hand on experience session on making various robots like line follower robot, obstacle
follower and obstacle avoider robot, sound controlled robot, mobile controlled robots, etc
using multipurpose optical sensors, sound sensor and DTMF module.

TITLE:“SPECTRAL IMAGING TECHNIQUE FOR NON-CONTACTBASED HEART RATE
DETECTION”
Abstract: This thesis deals with non-contact based heart rate measurements. The prime focus
in the approach would be to reveal subtle changes that would otherwise be invisible to the
naked eye. The goal is analysing subtle motions in a video (frames collected across time). Hyper
spectral imaging would provide an extra edge over normal imaging due to its near see through
effect in Near Infra-Red region (NIR). This unperceivable motion is exaggerated by decomposing
the initial acquired video into spatially different frequencies and then temporally filtering out
the signal of interest. The resultant temporally filtered signal is then amplified to reveal hidden
information in the video. The individual signals are then added back with the amplified signals
and then the pyramids formed are collapsed to get back the video with subtle changes
noticeable. In order to accomplish the goal of extracting HEART RATE we select a pixel so that
its intensity variation could be tracked over the frames, thus forming an AC signal. This AC
signal would yield an estimate of the heart rate.
