In the semester3-1 on November 2012 we have visited thermal power
plant in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. There we saw the power is
produced by changing the phase of water to steam and that high
pressure steam is sent to the turbine inlet then the high pressure
steam is expanded on turbine blades then the turbine rotates and the
turbine shaft is connected to the generator thus power is produced.
