Operations Officer, US Army, Raleigh, NC
June 2012 – present
COO leads the planning, coordinating, training, and supervises recruiting operations for an Army
Recruiting Organization consisting of 6 companies, 35 centers and 2 Military Entrance Processing Stations
(MEPS) Guidance Counselor Sections geographically dispersed throughout 40,000 square miles.
Supervise the development and implementation of policy, plans, and guidance to drive the HR strategies
for the United States Army recruiting mission including various awards, incentives and recognition
programs. Manage the budget and expenditures in excess of $500,000. Chairs the Community Advisory
Board. Assessed and handled all civilian employment relations issues. Directly supervises and evaluates
21 personnel.
• Ranked # 1out of 8 Officers by the Unit Director; recognized by the CEO for being the first unit to
develop programs to increase training and challenge recruiters physically and mentally.
• Planned and executed the onboarding and socialization of the Charlotte Recruiting Company and
Army Liaison Cell at Charlotte MEPS during an organization expansion during the peak of the
recruiting season with no loss of recruitment.
• Partnered with multiple external agencies to include the NC governor’s office, NC National Guard,
and local celebrities to plan and execute two Future Soldier Recognition Banquets to recognize over
400 high school seniors and their families.
• Established and supervised a successful Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Program (SHARP)
overseeing six subordinate programs. Facilitated organization trainings encompassing up to 300
personnel; certified 21 Recruiting Center Directors to give sexual harassment classes to their recruits
prior to attending introductory military training. Investigated and made recommendations on EO and
SHARP complaints.

Response Programs (SHARP) that investigated and made recommendations on EO and SHARP
complaints. Facilitated weekly safety briefs, monthly EO classes and quarterly Sexual Harassment
classes encompassing up to 750 personnel.
Human Resources Plans and Operations Officer, US Army, Fort Bragg, NC October 2009
– December 2010
Senior Analyst oversaw the synchronizing, coordinating and integrating of wartime sustainment, priorities
and efforts to support mission requirements. Monitor the distribution of services including human
resources, postal, financial management, mortuary affairs and movement of over 120,000 personnel,
within a two continent area of operations during combat operations. Assessed reports, battlefield analysis
and informational products on developing situations and information to advise and counsel the CEO and
COO. Assessed and handled all civilian employment relations issues and contract disputes.
• Hosted weekly Responsible Drawdown and Retrograde Boards at the senior executive level to
remove equipment and personnel from Iraq and daily Allocation Boards to determine the redistribution
and movement of combat equipment and personnel resources.
• Managed four government contracts ensuring the resolution of interpersonal conflicts, performance
problems, and disciplinary actions were minimal and organizational performance remained high.
• Implemented a female mentorship program in order to develop junior staff members.

Human Resources Officer, US Army, Fort Bragg, NC October 2006 –
October 2009 Senior Human Resource Manager counseled the CEO on all HR matters for an organization
consisting of over 750 personnel. Implemented and enforced new personnel policies due to updated
regulatory guidance. Supervised the unit onboarding and exit interview process in order to improve
efficiencies. Supervised, trained and evaluated 10 staff members.
• Ensured that three areas that had received unsatisfactory ratings by higher level command inspectors were completely
overhauled resulting in 100% ratings resulting in the senior inspector stating the unit had the best Family Care Plan
Program evaluated in over eight years.
Coordinated the reception and integration of over 600 personnel and their family members during a

unit re station from South Korea to Ft Bliss, TX to Ft Bragg, NC; moving families and ensuring human
capital support were critical to the unit’s success.
• Prepared SWOT analysis of new personnel systems; reorganized the section and effectively cross
trained four Soldiers into the section in order to perform additional requirements associated with the
re engineering of the Army’s Human Resources field.
• Established an efficient logistics section supervising the reception and shipment of over $1 million of
mission essential wartime equipment.
Readiness Officer, US Army, Fort Bragg, NC July 2005 –
October 2006
Senior analyst supervised the research, allocation, execution, and future forecasted readiness for the
monthly Clients Status Report to the CEO. Analyzed manpower trends and managed the personnel
readiness for eight Army installations encompassing over 92,000 individuals. Coordinated the staffing
issues between subordinate staff sections and executive levels of Human Resource Management in order to
meet manpower strengths.
• Coordinated a visit by the President of the United States to Fort Bragg to meet with family members of fallen Soldiers.
• Assumed the additional responsibilities of two other senior analysts when the organization was downsized.
• Ranked # 1 out of 15 Human Resources Officers that the Human Resources Director rates on performance reports.
Personnel Management Center Executive Officer, US Army, Fort Bragg, NC June 2004 –
June 2005
Deputy Director of a personnel management center consisting of 45 personnel, supervising all personnel,
training, readiness, supply, equipment maintenance and daily operations of the center. Managed the center
budget and expenditures in excess of $250,000.
• Developed a weekly training program for all members of the center in order to maintain proficiency in required skills and
to cross-train personnel to increase the efficiency of the center.
