• Designed electrical control and relay systems including SCADA, SER, and RAS

for power substations including all single-line, three-line, relay schematics, rack

layout, wiring diagrams and associated documents.

• Designed Substation Yard Layouts for 69KV through 500KV substations.

• Trained Drafters in the use of MicroStation CADD and Substation Design

Principles.

Designer III Jan 1998 - Dec 1999

TDEC Portland, OR

• Participated in the design of converting multiple hydroelectric generators to

synchronous condensers. Designed relaying cabinets for valve control, PLC

cabinet. Acted as CAD lead for all designers and drafters.

• Designed the 500kV yard bus, conduit and grounding for four new 500kV bays.

Acted as CAD lead for all designers and drafters to coordinate the drawing

packages. Checked schematics and wiring diagrams for accuracy and
