Director of Montreal
In my position heading the Montreal branch for Centre de Langues Internationales
Charpentier (CLIC), I was responsible for the hiring and training of all our teachers in
the Montreal area as well as being responsible for the day to day operations of the
school. I adapt quickly and am reliable, meticulous, honest and hard-working,
Specific responsibilities include:
Andragogical advisor for all contracts with both the Provincial and Federal
governments.
Monitoring, evaluating and acting upon all feedback from our students in order to
ensure they receive the desired results.
Participating in various recruitment activities across the province.
Performing linguistic evaluations on all new students to determine their linguistic
profile and level.
Collecting and analyzing the results of various linguistic programs to ensure
programs meet the guidelines established by the clients.
Ensuring all teachers perform in a competent and professional manner by reviewing
student feedback and following up as required.
Teaching high level English as a Second Language to various businesses and
government offices (Federal and Provincial) on an exceptional basis. Specifically,
when particular results were required within a specified time frame (ex/ obtaining
CCC with the Federal government)
Responsible for the day to day running of the Montreal school including budgeting,
planning and recruitment.
Created a new evaluation system and requisite documentation to streamline the
preliminary evaluation process for all students regardless of level.

Was responsible for creating a new evaluation system for all schools operating
under the CLIC banner. This included heading numerous meetings with evaluators
from various schools, gathering and processing all feedback and creating the final
copy which is now the standard for all schools.
Became the first Andragogical advisor for CLIC when dealing with the Federal
government. This entailed meeting with various government departments, creating
course plans to ensure a steady rate of progress based off of the client's
requirements, quality control of both the courses and the teachers and detailed
report writing in order to provide all our clients with clear and precise information in a
timely manner.
Created a library of English reference material and literature that is now used in the
Lanaudiere CLSCs and is available to both clients and staff.
