16949 certified Japanese owned manufacturer of automotive anti-vibration rubber and hose

products. DTR Tennessee is responsible for two plants employing over 1300 associates in

Midway and Tazewell, Tennessee. Currently manage a staff of 12 direct and indirect reports to

control staffing, associate training and development, payroll, wage and benefits, safety and

environmental activities in the plants. Involved in the initial plant start-up and growth of the Midway

Career Highlights

Began work as management trainee on production floor at Square D which allowed me the

opportunity to work with all levels of the organization. Moved in to Human Resources after 5 years

and have been working in this field since that time.

During my career, have been fortunate to work in generalist roles that have allowed me to

participate in many activities and learn all facets of business. Have worked with multiple vendors

of HR services including insurance, payroll, information systems, workers compensation, 401(k)

and other related services.

Have managed and led changes in medical providers, systems and care services with

establishment of an onsite clinic. I have had the chance to travel nationally and abroad for job

related activities. I have had the chance to speak at my company, locally and nationally about

experiences with my company and activities we have instituted to help in improving our

performance.
