AST PERTH SCOTLAND: I had been working in the airport hanger which is owned
by the University of Highlands and Islands on Pratt and Whitney 1120 Engine fault
detection procedures as a part of a module.

part of module)

2. Check the local Buckling of a single cell of composite skin structure.
(Intermediate Master Project).
The Aim was to check the local buckling of a single cell of skin with variable skin
structure and fixed cell size. Software : NASTRAN/PATRAN.

Duration: 6 months.
3. Project on Unmanned Aerial Systems.
It includes proposal to design a new Unmanned Aerial System and
includes the following tasks:
Selection of sensors, antennas, navigation systems, data links, frequencies
and other avionic systems.
Selection of main geometrical and weight parameters of the aircraft.
Computation of the main aerodynamic characteristics.
Calculation of internal loaded structure and weight analysis.
Assessment of aircraft performance.
Cost analysis.

Duration: 6 months.
4. Analysis Of Aircraft Emissions and Innovative methods for the
reduction. (B.Engg. Project).
Includes the various methods to analyse the aircraft emissions such as
carbon emission calculator and some new methods to decrease the aircraft
emissions such as to replace aircraft fuel to Liquid Hydrogen.

Duration: 6 months.
5. Model Of Landing Gear. (HND Project).
Includes the practical mechanism of landing gear.
