LEAN in Higher Education Practicum course, Spring 2013
Worked with Kent State University’s Human Resources Department on LEAN Implementation. The team
consisted of five group members and the practicum took four months. Did research on LEAN
implementation and proposed advice on implementing lean at Kent State University.
Recruitment and Retention Plan Robinson Memorial Hospital, Summer 2013
Main project as a summer HR intern at Robinson Memorial Hospital. Worked with five HR professionals
within a time period of three months. Did research on best practices of retention and recruitment in
healthcare industry. Made changes to the plan and statistics based on my research findings.
