This program was designed to provide equitable education to drop-out youth, ages 16 -21 years
old. The major focus was to prepare them to get their GED and aspiring interest in attending
college. My role was to verify rosters, assist Case Managers with interviews, screening and
directing telephone calls from former teachers and School District of Philadelphia personnel;
outgoing correspondence and distribution of mail.

Volunteer
I tutored 15, 16, and 17 year-old teenagers in Reading, who were behind the national average
score for the inner city middle and high school public schools. At the end of the tutoring session, 86% of
students were re-tested. Their scores had showed remarkable improvement, and many of them were able
to return to their high schools’ regular reading classes to complete academic requirements for graduation.

I provided administrative and secretarial, legal and human resources support to top and middle
management, general, associate and other legal counsel staffs. This included incoming and outgoing
correspondence, machine transcription, typing, information research using the Internet, Nexus Lexus;
filing and taking and routing telephone messages; drafts memos and correspondences as appropriate.
In addition, I scheduled and performed word processing activities; formatted revised documents;
scheduled by electronic depositions and other litigation, worker’s compensation, personal injury; RFPs;
travel arrangements; expense account reconciliation using the company’s policies for accountability;
created travel itineraries and schedules in accordance with travel requests.
I maintained excellent company files, soft and hard copies; performed duties in the absence of secretarial
and receptionist absences; performed other administrative and other office responsibilities as required or
as assigned.
