kilometers in Afghanistan between multiple units, and accounting for personnel traveling throughout
Afghanistan and to/from the United States.
• Obtained government Secret Clearance.
• Promoted to Platoon Leader responsible for planning training, logistics, mentoring, and ensuring soldier
readiness for approximately 30 soldiers.
• Chosen to lead an inexperienced group of 31 Soldiers from multiple Army Units to support
counties in Western Iowa with Missouri River flooding, summer of 2011.
• Designated Unit Operations Officer. Planned logistics for approximately 87 Soldiers and assisted Unit CEO
in leading and planning Engineer Training; Second in Command of unit.
• Promoted to Battalion Intelligence Officer. Advised CEO in charge of 500+ Soldiers on 50+ Engineer Missions
and Operations.
• Assigned Instructor for Recruit Sustainment Program. Trained 200+ newly recruited
candidates to become professional Soldiers in the United States Army.
• Selected for Battalion Administrative Specialist. Assisted in Human Resources, mail,
promotions, and pay operations for approximately 650 military personnel.
• Graduated United States Army Combat Engineer School. Supplied mobility, counter- mobility and survivability
