Abstract:
Advance parking system helps to minimize the parking area. In today's era of miniaturization, it is
crucial necessity to avoid the wastage of space in companies, apartments, malls etc. In places where
more than 100 cars need to be parked, this system proves to be useful in reducing wastage of space.
This Advance Parking System enables the parking of vehicles, floor after floor and thus reducing the
space used. This makes the system modernized and even a space-saving one. This idea is developed
using 8051 Microcontroller and Radio Frequency identification device.

It explores emerging automatic identification technologies (such as RFID) as a way to improve

the quality of services provided to augment the customer value.
The operator has a system that consists of a RFID reader, a microcontroller, and a LCD. The

system functions as:
The customer buys a unique card (RFID card) with predetermined amount as he/she enters.
o
The unique number of RFID card is stored in the microcontroller.
o
Scans the RFID tag by the help of RFID reader.
o
Details of the tag re-check by the microcontroller.
o
Provides the information to the motor to open the gate at time of entry.
o
The list of slot is displayed on LCD so the customer need not to find the Parking area.
o
The transaction amount is detected from unique card and balance is displayed.
o
At the time of exits a detection system sounds an alarm.
