CMC is a not for profit facility with 146 inpatient beds. The ICU is a combined ICU/PCU with
13 beds caring for a variety of patients including medical and surgical cases. MHC is a cardiac
service program which encompasses the cardiac cath lab, echo, stress testing and device clinic.
This is an interim assignment to assess and assist with improvements in the ICU and then
extended to include the MHC.

New facility opened July 2013. This facility is a community for profit facility with 30 inpatient
beds including surgery, cardiac cath, intensive care unit and full service emergency department.
As the Director of nursing I was responsible for medical/surgical/PCU 24 beds, Intensive Care 6
beds and the Emergency Department 12 beds. Approximately 100 FTEs initially. ER visits
averaged 95-100 daily.

dialysis and the ED is 11 beds. Annual ER volume was 24,000 visits. The hospital specialized
in geriatrics having the NICHE certification and orthopedics. Approximately 50 FTEs were
under my direction.
