Responsibilities
-Worked on a committee to create a grant for $10,000 to give to a 501c(3) in Onondaga County that served
refugees
-Reviewed over 50 grant applications to select 10 finalists
-Went on 10 visits to the sites of each finalist to observe their daily functions and get more information on the
proposed projects
-Helped select the recipient of the $10,000 for 2013 and presented a speech at the reception
-Currently writing a new application

Responsibilities
-Researched multiple databases to select 5 distinct grants to apply for the Justice For All Program
-Gave elevator speech on the program to a panel of 10 local foundations
Accomplishments
-Successfully wrote an entire grant for the a Hiscock Legal Aid Society's Justice For All program. Application
will be submitted by the agency in October of 2014.
English as a Second Language Teacher

-Taught English as a second language to K-5 students at Geatano Public Elementary School in Florence, Italy
