Work History

Wal-Mart

03/2010-09/2012

Billy Dean (Mgr.)

Duties; Unload trucks, stock merchandise in designated departments,

light maintenance, and general clean up.

Equipment; Forklift, pallet jack

Reason for departure; FMLA required lengthy time off. Mutual parting,

and am eligible for rehire.

Orchid International LLC

04/2002-11/2009

Doug Miller (Production Mgr., Immediate Supervisor)

Duties; Set dies in appropriate presses (50-1000 ton), program smart pac

system accordingly, (parameters, tonnage monitoring, hydraulics etc.)

locate and load steel coil for progressive press run, check off quality

for first piece according to auto part spec prints, and production run.

Four years in pro-duction led to increase in knowledge which opened the

door to tool room apprenticeship. Spent 3 + years sharpening punches,

detail sections, polishing, and general maintenance on top bottom of dies.

Replacing punches, blocks, forms etc. as required. Sometimes need to spin

in house punches down and/or shim up, down as proper die timing required.

As every die and its functions are different, so are the needs and time

spent on upkeep, and repairs. This is my favorite part or phase of the

industry.

Equipment; Remote crane, manual crane, fork lift, pallet jack, in-house

PC, Smart-Pac Programming Systems, Lathe, End Mill, wet and dry grinder,

Angle, protractor, robotic welders, and most all measuring device tools

(micrometers (depth, hight, 0-1 thru 0-12") calipers, slide-rules, compass

etc. wrenches (Allens, metric and standard) hammers, extensive list goes

on.

Reason for departure; Economy, and falling auto industry, ...company had

major lay off, no recall forced me to seek any employment hence opportunity

at Wal-Mart.

International Tooling and Stamping

05/1998-03/2002

Al Hensch (Production Mgr.)

Duties; Run 200 ton press, and perform minor in press tooling as needed,

(replace, or sharpen punches, shim up or down forms, blocks, punches etc.

as needed to maintain quality parts) during runs.

Equipment; Forklift, measuring device tools (micrometers, calipers, rules

etc.), and basic tools for repairs (wrenches, die bars etc.)

Reason for departure; As interest and knowledge of industry

increased...sought better opportunities both in advancement, and wage left

on excellent terms.

Earlier employment history can be provided if needed.
