Ameriprise Financial vendor which is leveraged for predicative analytics, reporting and direct marketing
campaigns.
Lead a team of Econometricians focused on Predictive Analytics used to exploit patterns found in historical
and transactional data to identify risks and opportunities for the central Marketing and Financial Planning
divisions.
Manage a production environment that is dedicated to delivering Direct Marketing campaigns for various

• Fully engaged in the strategic enterprise wide project since its inception, which sought to define long-term plans for
American Express’ card payment platforms. Interacted and influenced key Senior Management both business and
technology representatives to assist in delivering strategic enterprise initiative. Led the effort to create the strategic
business direction for a key credit card authorization platform, Global Authorization Network based on competitive
information and business needs.
• Processor owner of the Clearing & Settlement infrastructure where I managed $12mm per annum budget and $5-
$7mm per annum development budget. Ensured end to end management of critical business development while
interfacing with various business and technical organizations with a goal of implementing a high quality product
benefiting our customer base. Utilizing Six Sigma principles identified and implemented over $800K in re-
engineering savings in the first year of the program.

• Formally responsible for American Express Global Network technical publication and standards. My team
maintained and enhanced network standards in existing areas (Authorizations, Fraud, Clearing and Settlement,
Authorizations) and updating the packaging of other communications which GNS partners need to conduct and
grow their American Express business and successfully launched what is now known as the GNS InfoNet.
• Created an MIS strategy which outlined a comprehensive approach to meet growing MIS needs with the business.
Influenced Sr. Management to fund Phase I of the MIS plan based on external consultant analysis and strategic view
of the MIS utility. This plan was then implemented by another leadership team and is providing significant benefit
to the business today.
Lead Manager – Infrastructure Release Manager, GNS Business Group (May 1998 – June 2002)
• Matrix managed resources across business units in my Release Management role. Partnered with all levels of
management from various organizations (i.e. Technologies, Finance, Marketing, Treasury, Legal, and Vendor
Management) both internal and external to GNS. These partnerships included, but were not limited to,
collaborating with the aforementioned resources to identify and scope a suite of requirements and manage them
through the Method/1 life cycle housed within a release.
• Infrastructure releases encompassed development for Mainframe, Distributed, and Web based applications. All
releases were implemented on schedule and at or below budget. With budgets ranging from $14-$20mm per annum.
• Involved in competitive research to determine best strategic positioning of new products introduced into our
division. The research allowed for an understanding of enablement challenges due to operational and technical
constraints. Utilized the Release process to complete a comprehensive vision of the enablement of certain products
(e.g. Purchasing Card, Corporate Card, Smart Card)
• Created business policies and data architecture standards that formed the framework for the GNS infrastructure
necessary to support our international Acquiring and Issuing partners and deliver the features/functionality that will
be critical to the success of this venture.
• Led the effort to establish a baseline-pricing model for the GNS Network Business. Provided thought leadership
and influenced Senior Management to provide the necessary resources to ensure success.
