EXPERIENCE

CAD Designer/ Technical Projects Administrator
Performed services as a Computer Aided Designer/ Drafter (CADD), which
later evolved to Technical Projects Administrator in the fields of
Architecture, Engineering and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Performed CAD & GIS Services under Planning & Development and Facilities
Engineering. Expanded responsibilities include Graphic Production Services
(Campus Signage Maintenance).
Produced architectural designs and mapping. Coordinated and facilitated
information exchange between member institutions and consultants.
Maintained and updated construction as-built and utility information in
both electronic and hard-copy format. Provide conceptual land development
ideas and plans for future planning. Duties also included management and
archiving of deeds and easements which numbered in excess of 2,000 over
1,200 acres of property. Performed tasks using Computer Aided Design (CAD),
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Graphic Production Services (Sign
Shop). An active liaison with the City of Houston and Metro with regards to
technical projects affecting TMC.

maintain, design and update Wayfinding signage. Conducted data collection
on over 160 facilities in the medical center. Provided expertise to
Information Technology Services department regarding best practices for

department hardware and software needs.
. Architectural Design AutoCAD & 3D Modeling: Created design for the
renovation of John P. McGovern Commons food court and Starbucks
seating area. Created unique areas near Starbucks that enhanced the
space and provided a better ambiance for visiting customers. Created a
fresh look and feel in the overall food court, which improved other
amenities such as Subway and Chick-fil A.
. Geographic Information Systems: Implemented GIS campus infrastructure
and web-based application which involved working with industry leading
GIS and Survey companies to create over 25 data sets built from
analyzed data.
. Data Collection & Dissemination of Vital TMC and Member Institutions:
Responsible for managing, maintaining and updating a database for the
largest Medical Center in the world. In charge of collecting and
gathering data for over 160 facilities throughout TMC's campuses.
Managed TMC's Parking Management Area (PMA) Ordinance to ensure that
all member institutions were in compliance with the correct building
square footage and parking space counts during construction
development phase.
. Design and Space Planning: Oversaw 2003-2012 Facilities Operations
office and workshops space program in addition to the conceptual
building design. Office renovations at 2450 building included creating
conceptual designs and permit ready construction working drawings for
projects including Security and Vault area which involved creating a
secure place to count money by designing a steel reinforced enclosure.
. Government Liaison: Coordinate with different agencies regarding
various permits for new addresses, waste water capacity, utility
information, building construction and others.
. Internal Relations: Forged connections among staff as well as 54
Member Institutions in the medical center within the CAD & GIS
industries.
. Maintained CAD and 3D modeling and mapping of TMC's campus facilities
which includes information collection and geo-referencing buildings of
over 300 facilities .
. Designed and developed 3D conceptual model of John P. McGovern Commons
to display as a proposed building on an existing campus model.
. Successfully parcelized K-Lot (an 8 acre property) into 3 separate
parcels calculated meets and bounds and submitted to General Counsel
to be filed at Harris County Appraisal District.
