Work as a CNC programmer under the general supervision of the department

manager. Interpret blueprints, write CNC programs, program verification, setup and tooling

worksheets. Run machines when and work with machinists to run programs and verify smooth

operations.

- Create/write CNC programs from blue prints in EdgeCam to be run them on NC Lathe and

Mill, and EDM machines. Document programs with instructions and in-process drawings used

by other machinists who run the programs.

- Determine cutting path, cutting tool speed and feed rate.

- Develop and update machining offset programs to accurately manufacture components per

CAD models, drawings, and specifications.

- Make setup sheets and tooling for NC programming.

meets the specifications. Check all parts before loading them into the machine for production.
