scheduling of all new

specialty machines, stamping dies, prototypes, and all machine details. Taking care of

multiple companies to keep

them running when they have break downs. In charge of all aspects of the tool room,

placement of equipment, moving of

all equipment and keeping the equipment in good running order. Ordering of all tooling

and materials. Help with all safety

issues including when employees are hurt on the job or any other safety issues..

Johnson Engineering LLC, 2000 – 2007

Responsible for building automated machine systems and freelance design work in support of

government,

aerospace, automotive, medical, furniture, fuel, and food industries. Prototype projects

include auto limiters for the fuel

industry (to prevent overfills in the ground fuel tanks) and automated assembly machines

(most are PLC controlled).

Designed and built hydraulic heat presses (5 to 100 tons), cut off saws for extrusions, and a

500-ton hydraulic press. Built

checking fixtures for the aerospace industry, machines to test airflow and pressure, circular

saws to cut thru 12” of tool

steel 8’ long, and stamping dies (from simple pierce and blank to complex progressive dies).

Also built machines to

assemble parts and inspect the parts.
