Main Project title : DESIGN OF PNEUMATIC SEMI-AUTOMATIC VENT

AND FLASH REMOVER IN TYRE

The objective of the Project is to remove

the vent and flash in tires to reduce the

wear and to attain the minimum time

consumption and to get the profitable

production. This Semi Automatic trimming

process is more efficient than

Conventional trimming.

Mini Project Title : DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF VACUUM

SUSPENSION SYSTEM

The objective of this project is to

absorb shock and to improve the

cushioning effect of vehicles and some

other applications. It is more efficient

by comparing the other suspension system

due to the combination of vacuum pressure

and spring suspension system.

. Receive the Customer revision drawing from Planning department and

analysis with previous revision drawing

. If any dimension correction are required then prepare the development

drawing Calculation sheet for Revised dimension.

. If no correction are required then prepare the development drawing

with latest Revision number.

. To enter the Critical Dimension master entry in MIS.

. To estimate the casting weight and upload the casting drawing in MIS.

Mechanical Lab:

. To made a test on sample bar for a different grade casting valve like

Tensile test, Impact test (charpy & Izod), Bend test, Corrosion test,

Hardness test (Brinell Hardness)

. To handle the UTM machine.

. To made a hardness test on casting valve by using Dynamic hardness

tester.

Chemical Lab:

. To check the mould sand (Facing, Backing & Core sand) for pouring a

metal.

. To made a sand test like Permeability test, Moisture test, Strengthen

test (UTM)

. To check the AFS (American Foundry Society), Clay test for incoming

sand like silica sand

. To made the PMI (Positive Material Identification) testing for

incoming Alloys.

. To check the chemical composition for incoming raw material.

. To handle the Spectrometer.

. To check the chemical composition for sample bath for metal pouring

casting
