Objective: To obtain challenging employment with which I can use my
customer service, linguistic, and product knowledge skills for the
betterment of myself and my clients. A position where I am challenged, not
my integrity, nor my honesty. A company that is dynamic and filling a need.

As a Scholars Tutor and an Auditory Learning and Memory Instructor I
taught reading, spelling and vocabulary skills to children of various ages.
I used scripted materials, often adding additional definitions of my own
from memory, which earned me a sobriquet of "Mr. Dictionary". I invented
HangScrabbleman as an after lesson diversion that would be more challenging
than the usual Hangman. My supervisors have been Ellie Halprin(current),
Christy Thomas, Joan Dodd, and Gayle Childers.

From Jan. 2006-Oct. 2011
I took over this store on a "temporary basis" after the previous
manager was fired for theft. The resulting inventory assessment showed a
loss of 1% of sales. After one year, my next inventory was .04% over.
Subsequent inventories have all been within acceptable ranges. I also
worked with neighboring stores to increase security and traffic into this
location. In addition, I took this location from one of the lowest in the
rankings in my region to one of the top 10, often appearing at the number 1
spot. My team won the original "Codfather" tournament, having the highest
increase in fish oil sales in my district, earning a mention in the
corporate newsletter. My team and I received numerous citations from the
corporate office for exceeding expectations of sales of memberships,
multivitamins, and Premium Products. By providing excellent customer
service, product knowledge, and clear explanations of the functions and
interplay of differing types of nutritional supplements, I gained a word-of
-mouth following to this location, despite its geographical position behind
another building. I was supervised by Derek, Brandon Cherchio, David Du
Bois, Rantrell Jackson, and Robert Wright.

This location made a profit for the first time under my leadership.
I was promoted to store manager when I assumed leadership here. The week
after I became manager, this location was the top store. in the top region,
of the top division in the company. I repeated this several times until
this location was closed after the rent on the property was raised. Here
and at KK 5369 I led my store team in maintenance, resetting of sections to
plannogram, and verifications of product freshness. I also participated in
numerous inventory assessments, store resets, and cleanups throughout my
region to benefit the whole team. I was overseen by Mike Hannasch, Anthony
Paulmino, and Robert Wright.

I began at this store as a Sales Associate, using my time to educate
myself on the different products GNC carried and their function. This
knowledge allowed me to create combinations for customers, increasing
average sales, customer loyalty, and profit. I also made myself available
for work at a multitude of other stores when needed to help the team. Due
to my knowledge of both German and Spanish, I assisted many customers in
their own language, a benefit with this store's international clientele.
Kohl's Department Store 972-***-****

I worked seasonally as member of the price reset team, changing price
signage per different sales throughout the week. In addition, I also
assisted customers, restocked, and recovered the store to standards. I was
under the direction of Robert Wright, Anthony Paulmino, and Johvannie
Garcia.
