Provide customers with estimated costs of materials and labor required for projects such as tiling floor,
countertops, walls or showers. Assist client with design layout including pattern of tile, colors, shapes,
sizes, and grade of tile used. Determine if current surface was suitable for work, or if additional
preparation would need to be made before setting of tile. Tools used during installation include: wet saws,
dry saws, diamond blade saws, pneumatic drills, electric drills, lasers, levels, tape measures and air
compressors. Mix compounds to create bonding agents, such as mortars and grouts. Utilize triangular
method regarding layout, including some geometric formulas. Performed tile work for the past 17 years,
mostly part-time for supplemental income.

Tested water samples for discharge sewer, industrial and residential runoffs. Performed maintenance on
water equipment such as valves, hoses and other equipment. Mixed chemicals and performed lab tests on
water for state and federal regulations. Monitored computer system for equipment on hourly basis.
Drove large truck and transferred materials on grounds. Did labor maintenance on grounds such as
painting, mowing and weekly maintenance duties on equipment. Wrote daily and monthly reports on
findings and submitted reports to the state for verification.

Responded to various crime scenes reported by citizens of Davenport, including homicides, criminal
damage, sexual assaults, armed robberies, home invasions, and property crimes such as burglaries.
Processed crime scenes, package and transport evidence, attend and photographing autopsies, attend
briefings and conferences with the police agencies requesting assistance. Performed casting impressions
of tire tracks and footwear. Prepared investigative reports for the prosecution and testify in court.
Received continuing education, instructed classes, and maintained supplies for immediate response.
Remained available for on-call status to respond at any hour or shift based upon the crime reported, such
as a homicide. Secured crime scene as necessary including use of tape or other barriers, as well as
utilizing officer assistance. Performed intensive investigative and follow-up on cases until court
disposition. Performed extensive interviewing of victims and suspects of the crimes. Attended FBI
Academy on four occasions for different classes such as mapping, photography and blood pattern
analysis. Performed surveillance using cameras and other equipment. Used documentation tools
including tape measures and diagramming templates to map the scene. Collected items and appropriately
bagged for transport, tagged into the computer system and secured for submission to evidence storage for
proper chain of command. Lifted items weighing up to 150 lbs during the collection process. Performed
lab processing of collected items using techniques such as cyanoacrylate (superglue fumes), black
graphite and magnetic dusting powder and chemical processes such as ninhydrin and physical developer.
Tested marijuana that would include such processes as macroscopic visual, microscopic visual,
duquenois-levine, and thin layer chromatography. Testified in court regarding findings.
