Worked on an EOR technique and Performed Low salinity (LoSal) Brine flooding to increase oil production and permeability.

Conducted FORMATION DAMAGE TEST on the Core plugs by using the COREX RIG and efficiently carried out the MUDCAKE Cleaning process by formation Brine,Cleaning chemicals (Acids),and completion Fluids to clear the Mud Cake caused due to the drill mud,thereby increasing the permeability after clean up.

Executed a project and ascertained the Electrical properties (a, m, n). (SCAL).Formation Factor and Resistivity Index Measurements,

CEC (cation exchange capacity) and Electrical Properties by multiple salinity(Co/Cw) for shaly Cores.

My role also required me to do Core preparation (Slabbing,Plugging, Trimming, Grinding).,Core Photography (UV,White Light),Core cleaning(Soxhlet{hot and cold}).Dean and stark distillation(water extractor) (as per RP40)

Conducted Porosity measurements on numerous Core plugs using the Helium (He)Porosimeter 200 (Grain density, Grain Volume,Pore Volume), Steady state Gas Permeameter for Gas permeability measurements and for Klinkenberg, slip factor, Forchheimer’s (beta),turbulence factor (alpha).

Worked on Flow schematics and testing principles for Steady State (SS) and Unsteady state (USS) relperms.Liquid Permeability measurements, Steady State for both KL and single point permeability and Absolute permeability measurements.

Have prepared Synthetic Reservoir Brine and treated Dead Crude oil and used the Porous Plate technique to prepare the sample for HPHT starting point by bringing it down to SWi and also used the porous plate for the Reservoir Electrical properties measurement.

Assisted Wettability studies using Amott cell for wettability index measurements and Contact angle measurements by the IMAGING method(and also used the Ultra Rock Centrifuge for reducing the plug to Swi

Experienced in working with Enerpac hand pumps, BBS Screw Pumps and Teledyne Isco Pump 100 Dx (syringe pump), Data input /calculation. Adhered to QA/QC for every experiment conducted at Genesis .Periodically calibrated all in-house pressure gauges (Wika, Swagelok, Dwyer, Indumart) by the state of the art DEAD WEIGHT TESTER.
