Project Title : Design and Analysis of Propeller Blade

Objective/Vision:

Composite propellers have more advantages over the conventional

metallic propellers.We concentrated on the metal and composite strength

analysis of the propeller blade carried out by using the finite element

method.

A propeller blade of fiber -reinforced plastic with a combined

erosion, icing and lightning protection system as a metal shroud fitted to

its leading edge, the shroud enclosing a cavity and accommodating a

heating conductor at its interior
