The process was found to be highly time dependent and the team’s recommendation was to
use a scheduling algorithm that minimized missed loads.
A Monte Carlo simulation showed that the algorithm would minimize missed loads to 0.7%
Optimization of piston ring thickness for quality control
(Spring 2014 semester)
The project goal was to find an optimal thickness that would reduce stress levels and cost.
Wrote code for Monte Carlo simulation and used Matlab solvers to find the optimal
thickness

(Spring 2014 semester)
The project was aimed at streamlining the truck maintenance system.
Wrote a report making suggestions for improvement. Suggestions mostly had to do with
improvement of queuing system.
