PROJECTS :

In this project an experimental investigation was made in concentric type heat exchanger using titanium oxide(tio2 ).the titanium oxide was purchased and it was mixed with distilled water to make a Nano fluids. An experimental setup of heat exchanger was made and investigation was performed.

Nano fluids were prepared in three ratios such as 0.1 gm./liter,0.2gm./liter and 0.3gm./liter experimental investigation above proportion was compared with pure distilled water .The results shows that 0.3gm./liter of Nano fluids proportion gave higher heat transfer characteristics. Testing the Nano fluids for heat transfer application in refrigeration, engine coolant flows through radiator, power plant,air conditioning. Future work compared with various ratios and base fluids such as oil, ethylene glycol etc.

* Visited DVC CHANDRAPURA THERMAL POWER STATION IN BOKARO(JHARKHAND) for 15 days and seen small

* Size coal is converted into powder form using feed hoper, ball mill and powder coal is sent boiler by cyclone firing.

* In boiler primary, secondary boiler are used to increase temperature and pressure and passed over the turbine.

* In turbine high pressure,intermediate,low pressure turbine are used for generating electricity.
