Main Projects Lead

• Recycle Pellets Centralization:

Move all extruder hopper recycle auxiliaries to one central bin for easy load, continuous

recycle flow and clear floor space on the production floor. RESULTS: Optimized work flow

and increased recycled pellet usage and narrowed Scrap/Recycle Gap.

• Extrusion Easy Access Help Desk:

Developed over 60 one-sheeted checklists for easy access information. The tool also serves as

a connection between production work instruction and support contact for operators.

Checklist content varies from general extrusion tips to quick fix techniques for non-

conforming material, and from production floor cleaning to 6S practices. RESULTS: easy

access to technical and general information.

• Recycle Registration Tool:

Jointly with HQ IT (IT is located in Brazil) added recycle registration systems in SAP.

Learned the new system through conference calls, wrote work instruction draft, tested system,

made adjustments to work instruction and added to plant shared drive, trained operators and

monitored results. RESULTS: Easy recycle registration through SAP and realization of real

recycle numbers monitoring.
