ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Spanish Teacher's role is to teach students the foreign language in an

interesting manner to understand, write and communicate in Spanish. A

Spanish Teacher should be able to impart the language to the learners in

different strategies and methodologies such as activity-based, project-

based, audio and visual methods.

It is necessary for a Teacher to communicate love and passion for the

language, which will inculcate and motivate the learners to learn a new

language with enthusiasm. Some important strategies followed in the

differentiated classroom teaching are:

. Introduce and strengthen the learning of Spanish language with

supportive materials in Spanish and develop high level of proficiency

of the language,

. Discussing about the culture and history of Spanish speaking countries

in the classes by creating an interesting environment of learning,

. Using wide range of instructional practices and teaching strategies to

make learning interesting such as PPT presentations, online audio

visuals and conducting debates, essay writing and group discussions

with Spanish songs.

. Demonstrating positive attitude towards Spanish- speaking society and

cultures,

. Encourage and motivate students to build up oral and literary language

skills suitable to age and abilities by consistent modeling,

. Participation in curriculum development programs,

. Grading students' performance by conducting weekly and monthly

assessments,

. Motivating students through giving short online assignments in Spanish

on EDMODO,

skills in Spanish,
