Academic Project

Pursued project work on a "ANALYSIS AND PERFORMANCE ON HIGH

PRESSURE BOILER" in VIJAYAWADA THERMAL POWER PLANT (VTPS).

The main objective of the project is to analysis and to

calculate the efficiency of the high pressure 1X500MW boiler unit. By this

we encountered that the boiler drawbacks in working thereby decreasing in

efficiency practically. Here we also studied the various parameters

affecting the boiler performance. By implementing further modifications on

coal we are using and other modifications we can improve the efficiency.
