Academic Projects
• Automatic Layer Palletizing: A project where pallets with different combination of layers
(vertical/horizontal) of lego blocks transported through conveyor system are formed by using
pneumatic cylinders operated with 3/2 valves, and controlled through Siemens PLC. This
involves the designing of conveyor system and realigning mechanism.
• Compressed Air Vehicle: A three wheel design where crank shaft is used to translate the
reciprocating motion of vertically mounted pneumatic cylinder operated with 3/2 valve into
rotational motion. 24V DC motor is used for steering mechanism, and to rotate the pressure
adjustment screw of pressure regulator.
• Servo Drive Card: Electronic circuit built on PCB board used to convert an input signal to a
controlled current that drives the servo valve torque motor.
