Project Manager-Field Upgrades

• Visit customer site to audit equipment and feed that information to the Engineering group to ensure that the

customer requirements are met.

• Manage in house assembly and prepare for work to be done in field.

• Manage complex schedules for equipment upgrades utilizing Gantt charts to keep team, management and

customer updated on project timeline.

Technical Responsibilities

• Complete layout of equipment components utilizing drilling, poly welding, machining and stud welding. This

requires complete overall knowledge of tool function and customer options for strategically installation of pumps,

tanks, filters, flow meters, valves, process chambers and accessories.

• Assembling of all sub-assemblies to factory standards utilizing method sheets and SOPs.

• Installing plumbing and pneumatics to interconnect components.

• Complete tool electrical wiring of all AC and DC circuits. Adding additional circuitry that is required and

modification of existing circuits. Interfacing with external equipment.

• Working with software development to program, troubleshoot, and verify PLC code for proper equipment

performance and verify customer requirements are met.

• Final testing of equipment to ensure complete functionality. This also includes facilitating a customer source

inspection before shipment to ensure their needs have been met.

• Configure Automation of robots utilizing fiber optic communication and servo drives.

• Equipment field installation and service in a clean room environment. Working with Process Engineers to determine

process related requirements. Training of on-site maintenance technicians.

• Technical phone support, on call rotation for emergency field support, and field service.

• Work with Engineering and technical publications to update prints, flow diagrams and manuals.

• Decontamination of used equipment or components. Neutralizing and disposing of hazardous wastes used in the

Semiconductor industry.
