AMN, main responsibility was assisting our customer on all

quality needs such as engineering, customer service, training,

sorting, re-working, inspection and process improvements. We

provided these services at the customer location or in our

warehouse and we serviced the US and Mexico. I developed

statistical analysis non-conformity reports in order to help

customers resolve quality issues.

charge of the quality department, responsible for maintaining TS-

certification for the facility, kept close contact with all the

customers to maintain a high level of satisfaction and the PPM's

less than 250.

Monitored the supplier chain with incoming audits and worked with

suppliers as necessary to maintain quality of incoming products.

Kept control of the process, monitoring all the set ups during

the lamination process.

Developed and implemented production tracking and quality control

systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and

other operational reports to detect quality problems.

Established a statistical process control program to monitor bond

strength and lamination thickness for specific customers.

bias issues and delamination or streaks issues

was to visit the customer at their location to make sure our

product met all the specifications and exceeded the quality

requirements.

Made sure the product was delivered on time and defect free.

In the event the product had some kind of non-conformity I worked

with the customer to solve the issue by reworking, sorting,

returning to the vendor or us as is needed.

Kept the PPM's low and reported non-conformities to the different

C&A plants.

Reviewed operations and conferred with technical or

administrative staff to resolve quality or processing problems.

Main customers were LEAR: (Mexican trim operation.), CD Juarez

Mexico and Saltillo Mexico locations, J C I: all locations US

and Mexico, M T M : cut and Sew plants in Lexington, Kentucky

Represented Joan Fabrics textiles to all southern US and all

Mexican customers to insure quality on all knitted and woven

fabric products for the automotive industry.

Worked with the customers to maximize the use of the product and

submitted corrective actions as needed.

Customers were Lear, JCI, Irvin, Intier and Toyota.

Represented Excel Laminates to all customers in Mexico. Excel

Laminates had 80% of the lamination programs for GM and performed

cut and sew duties for Lear MTO.

Made sure the lamination issues were solved in a timely manner

and the fabric related issues were submitted to the fabric

supplier in order to take full responsibility of it.

Was responsible for 28 Injection Molding machines and the

Metrology Lab.

Performed full blue print layouts using calipers, micrometers,

dial Indicators and a CMM (coordinate measuring machine).

Developed the quality system for the QS9000 control plans,

PFMEA's and PPAP's for the automotive industry, and the

establishment of statistical process controls and statistical

analysis.

05/1988 - 7/1992 Kendall Medical Products, San Diego, CA

Was responsible for the startup operation of the new facility at

Tijuana, Mexico for two different areas from two different

plants.

First area was transferred from the Augusta, Georgia plant and it

was the assembly of the urinary trays for hospitals.

The second section was transferred from the Palatine, Illinois

plant and it was the respiratory tray assembly. Both operations

were assembled and sealed at this plant and then sent to

sterilize at the Augusta plant.

Responsible for the lab testing operation and the GMP's

implementation.
