PROJECTS
1. Title: Recent trends in regenerative feed heating system for
improving the power plant efficiency
Description: The regenerative cycle has higher thermal efficiency than
the simple Rankine cycle and the improvement increases as the number
of feed heating stages increases. Each additional heater adds a
progressively smaller increment in efficiency and theoretically an
infinite number of heaters will raise the efficiency of the
regenerative Rankine cycle to Carnot efficiency.
2. Title: Minimizing the Machining Deviation of Grinding Ring Casting
Description: The aim of this project is to reduce the machining
deviation (time) of grinding ring casting in Alstom. It reduces cost
of manufacturing the grinding ring casting and reduces rework hours
etc.
